Horse Riding on the Isle of Wight is run through Hill Farm Riding School They offer great courses and guided riding all around the West Wight area.
Do you want to have fun rushing down a hill side on a board? Maybe getting to the stage where you can take on a few jumps? Mountain Boarding is great fun and exciting to learn. We have two great locations for introducing you to Mountain Boarding and we also have some great trails for the more experienced mountain boarder who wants to take on some harder routes in the stunning locations that the Isle of Wight has to offer.
Details
You will meet us at our centre at Afton Park just up the road from Freshwater Bay or over at our site in Sandown where you will meet one of our experienced mountain board instructors.
You will be given a helmet and fitted up for knee pads and wrist guards and then be introduced to the boards before starting small on the easy slopes getting the hang of turning and stoping.
The Intro’s are aimed at those who have never been on a mountain board before or for family groups who want to stay together.
You will spend your time learning the basics of mountain boarding before heading higher up the sloops or trying some rougher ground.
Whatever you choose to do it will be an adventure in a stunning location, with great equipment and extremely competent coaches who are there to ensure that you are both safe and having fun.
You will use our top of the range Scrub Boards that are designed for novice to intermediate riders who want a fun but predictable board to learn on.
Your Instructor will offer you the basics and loads of handy hints to develop your skills having you carving your way down the slopes in no time.
